How to compile MacPyMOL?

After some trial and error I found out its easy to build your own PyMOL via MacPorts. But this is a X11 application. It would be nice to also build MacPyMOL by your own, but how can I do that? I only find the source code for PyMOL, not for MacPyMOL. Or isn't it possible to build your own version of MacPyMOL?

I don't think you can
I don't think you can compile a MacPyMOL as such. But then again, I am satisfied with the X11 version. What do you really need from the Mac-ified version?
Thanks for your reply. I
Thanks for your reply. I think its more a matter of my attitude. I like the Mac-ified version much more than the X11 version. The user experience is more Mac-like. :)

MacPyMol is considered to be an incentive product to encourage users to purchase a license/subscription. Thus, the code required to compile MacPyMol is not publicly available. The X11 version is the only one which can be complied using the available source code.
