Hardware stereo visualisation

The MacPros with the NVidia Quadro cards were very good in stereo. We had stereo running with the two main apps we use, PyMol (native) and Coot (under X11).

However, the same machines, upgraded to Leopard, no longer do hardware stereo. It doesn't work _at_all_ under X11, and PyMol, running native, works but leads to excruciatingly slow screen redraws of menu picks in the stereo window. In other words, not functional.

Anybody any clues/fixes/work arounds/ways to complain to his Jobsness?

No problems observed.. yet

Hi, we just quickly checked the stereo capabilities after upgrading to Leopard. So far we haven't seen any specific differences or drawbacks. We are mainly using the VMD software for molecular visualisations.
