Flowchart generator for Fortran using OS 10.5.7
By TDaMoose at Wed, Aug 19 2009 2:40pm |
In searching through the Internet, I found several flowchart generators that looked like they met my criteria as stated in the subject bar. However, upon close examination, they said that they were for Windows only!!!
My question is: is there a Fortran flowchart generator for the Mac Leopard platform? If so would you please direct me to its URL
Much thanks.

Are you searching for a utility like 'Understand for Fortran'?
Edit: having looked at the abilities of windows-based flowchart generators, I don't think Understand would meet your requirements.
Flow chart generator
There is an open source program that Red Hat used to make called: Source Navigator. It's the closest thing I've ever found that does this (I could use one too):
http://sourcenav.sourceforge.net/
Hope that helps some.

Flowchart programs for Fortarn on the Mac
Dave,
I contacted the SourceForge URL and found the web site for Source Navigator. I downloaded both the executable and source files. However, I have no idea how to run them. So I emailed support and asked ho to use it. I suspect it runs in the Terminal mode.
I did find some Windows versions of Flow Charting programs. Worse comes to worse, I will try those in Parallels, the Windows emulator for the Mac.
